Baguettes, Cafe au Lait, Berets and That Boy

Baguette, beret and cafe au lait.

But the best part about being home is having That Boy, Sacha near!

He is home for Spring break.

….

Yesterday, we flew from Merida to Mexico City to catch a flight to France. Flying into Mexico City in the late afternoon was mouth dropping amazing. The airport is in the city's center; The plane literally flies right into the city… The building, homes, parks, buses feel like they are touchable. Literally underfoot.

The colors wildly bursting in front of our eyes! Landing in Mexico City was beyond anything I have ever seen. Unfortunately, my camera was not nearby. The megalopolis sprawls out in an ancient ocean bed, the mountains ring around the basin that inhabits an urban population of a mere twenty million. Monstrous sprawl of color, movement, you can literally see the heart beat, Boom, boom-boom, Pow!

Welcome Home! I am so glad you had a great time visiting Chelsea now it’s TB’s turn!
It’s funny to hear you say “That Boy” as sometimes I thought that was MY boys name except I always put a “Honestly” in front! LOL! Now I say it to my 14 yr old grandson!

Were you able to see Popacatépetl fuming away as you flew from Yucatán into Mexico City? And did you get any photos of the volcano from the plane? I think that would be so exciting!

    Hi C
    Welcome to Paris!
I would come visit you, but Sacha is home and I want to hang out with him xxx
It does feel strange to be back, one thing it is COLD!
At the store today I said, “Thank You” then corrected myself and said, “Gracia!” The flushed red and laughed, “Merci.”
    Hello World.
Hope you have a good time in Paris !

    Hi FB
Nope, not yet. The little Wooshie is two weeks old. The kitten will be a shared pet, because Sacha and his friend are not suppose to have pets, let alone cats, they are both highly allergic!
Sacha said his friend named the kitten Wooshie. I think Sacha is going to call it Calico.

Do Sacha and his friend realize that a calico cat is a female? And that she’ll need to be spayed by age 6 months, unless they want either to keep a queen in estrus imprisoned indoors 24/7, or are willing to raise a litter of kittens after she parties with goodness-only-knows how many toms?
Someday I’ll tell you all about the adorable, starving feral calico kitten that lurked outside Farmboy Husband’s building at the university begging for handouts, that he started feeding, until she was tame enough to catch and bring home — then 5 weeks later she tried to deliver her litter between our pillows in the middle of the night (her water broke there)?
