Before one trip over there, my husband and I read or saw a travel program where the guy mentioned cheese the locals (?) described as Les Pieds d’anges — feet of angels. We decided that meant stinky cheese; when we encountered especially stinky cheeses (which we actually love) we started moving around the angels’ anatomy, wondering if a particular cheese might be armpit-of-angels, etc. Much travel hilarity ensued, but only between the two of us.

  15. yes…….does it taste heavenly?

My 12 year old French Bulldog is named Pipi. I named her that when she was 4 months old. I thought it sounded French. Little did I know at the time how French it was. But it has served her well. She was very hard to house-break ‘-)
