The lavender here arrived already at the farmers markets, in full bloom, the fragrance so strong it stops you in your tracks when walking by. -
I am always amazed at the beauty of France. I miss the Provencal countryside so much. Next time I’m in France, I need to come when the lavender is blooming.

Such a beautiful life! Oh, those fields of lavender!
I love the salad. It’s like the Italian version called Panzanella with lots of basil, red onion, garlic, especially tomatoes, and the old bread wetted then squeezed out and added. A great way to save the great bread for another meal.
