Why I Don’t Drive!

Why I Don't Drive!

Over 2500km.

Rain, shine, back road, detour, brocante signs, cows, pastries, cafes, castles, pit stops, mustard fields…

Yann drove it all.

I slept alittle. Really just a little.

But if I drove, well that little would be too much.

What Marilyn said! I don’t drive because it is so stressful in this busy city..and I’m easily distracted. Bright shiny objects, etc. Sort of like a crow.

There are do many other things that you can do, Driving just happens to be not one of them. xxpeggybraswelldesign.com

What an enchanting journey you have been taking us on! Sleep when you just can’t take any more beauty at one time.

I prefer to think of it not as being the non-driver, but rather as the navigator and trip documentarian. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!

  10. Your hair is beautiful, Corey!

A photographer cannot POSSIBLY drive at the same time! Thank you for the beautiful photos. You have taken us on a lovely journey with you. What kind of camera do you use?

  13. i happen to be the same way and thankfully Sammy likes to be behind the wheel. if he tires i can drive under the influence of lots of caffeine, loud music and cold air for ‘maybe’ 30 minutes. then i am nodding.
anyway your trip has been absolutely wonderful to watch via pc, i want to buy a chateau even more now…but mainly i am writing to say your hair is astoundingly beautiful! thank you for sharing , love, xoxo jody

Simply beautiful photos Corey, so much history and so much beauty! I envy you on your journey across France. The WWII story really touched my heart. My dad was in France at that time during WWII and remained for many months. Though he never spoke of the war much, I know he was at the Battle of the Bulge. It is a part of history that should never be forgotten, the losses were tremendous.
