A Day in Saint Tropez

Saint Tropez Painter

A painter sits at the port in Saint Tropez, painting the play of colors of the day.
Splashing colors on his canvas with ease, as the tides bring in yachts from around the world.
The color of water
The color of water.
Reflecting the old town mixed with opulent wealth-
History mixing with mink bikinis, Harley Davidsons and the red Cafe-Patisserie Senequier.
Painter, St Tropez, France
With his spatula knife he applied the colors that sing of St. Tropez…
Where are the Ye-ye singers? Did the painter add a hint of their seductive sound? Do I hear it from the cafe window? Or is it dancing along the port's edge?

My wonderful sweet cousin Courtney and her keeper husband Craig.
I wished they could have stayed longer.
Love on the port was thick that day.

Conversations that show a gentle giving way. Linda and her husband and my friend Ed have been my much needed sound boards.
Their view (point) has given me guidance.

Dear Corey, I’m sorry that you had to spend a day in St. Tropez, LOL. Wish I was there with you! I haven’t been there in about 20 years. That gazpacho looks wonderful and I love the picture of water rushing over someone’s feet.

  14. I always like a day out in Saint-Tro – and one day is always quite enough! Love the same things as you did – the colours, the light and the total exhorbitant richness casually displayed next to cosy corners and patios with ‘normal’ human beings. Dipping the feet into the warm water (not so this year…), having a glass of wine and watching the world go past! Lovely

Thank you for that palette of blues, Corey… I definitely need it right now !!!
