Family friends have come to visit us, Ed and Linda from Willows. We are in Paris:
Eiffel Tower sparkling at night,
Louvre to see Lisa,
Orsay also,
Sacre Coeur,
Champs Elysee….
The other night we walked our feet off following the Fete de la Musique
The French celebration on the eve of Summer.

The Fete de la Musique starts as night falls and last through the night.
Every neighborhood comes alive, this year I found it to have more people that music.

In the Marais we listened to the most beautiful violin music.
Mesmerizing.
Soft, heartfelt, holy.
I could have listened to him throughout the night.
A Jitter bug twist to Midnight Summer's Eve.
I wished French Husband was with us, so we could have danced.
As we walked back to our apartment (still not ready, but a great camp spot in the meantime…) a brass band played.
A delightful surprise!
