When in Paris (and the winners of the French Guessing Game): Fete de la Musique

Fete de la musique paris

Family friends have come to visit us, Ed and Linda from Willows. We are in Paris:

Eiffel Tower sparkling at night,

Louvre to see Lisa,

Orsay also,

Sacre Coeur,

Champs Elysee….

The other night we walked our feet off following the Fete de la Musique

The French celebration on the eve of Summer.

Fete de la musique paris

The Fete de la Musique starts as night falls and last through the night.

Every neighborhood comes alive, this year I found it to have more people that music.

Fete de la musique 2013 marais

In the Marais we listened to the most beautiful violin music.

Mesmerizing.

Soft, heartfelt, holy.

I could have listened to him throughout the night.

A Jitter bug twist to Midnight Summer's Eve.

I wished French Husband was with us, so  we could have danced.

As we walked back to our apartment (still not ready, but a great camp spot in the meantime…) a brass band played.

A delightful surprise!

Well I am so excited to have won too ! I’m also thankful that you post your adventures in Paris for the rest of us to experience. The jitterbug twist to midnight summers eve looks and sounds enchanting as I play it over and over again in the movie reel playing in my head….ahhh.
Thank you Corey in more ways than one.

Fete de la Musique looks wonderful. Hope you have a great time in Paris.
