Your title reminds me of Janet and Allen Ahlberg’s children’s book “Each Peach Pear Plum” – one of my favorites! It begins with

  9. Ok, I love those photos from the train station, and the beautiful trays of astonishing trinkets, but I’m missing those shirtless worker guys in your apartment. Is the weather still bad and they’re in shirts?? Haaahaa.
What a grand project. The gray tiles sound perfect although they look greenish in the photo. It’ll be a dream when you’re finished.

I spy a medal, an orange buckle from the 40’s(?), some pieces made of copper, something with pearls, a bottle stopper with cork, scalloped pieces (wood?), a brass locket, and some cute knobs for a cabinet…..can I dig further….one day! Love the alphabet set, too!!!

  12. Well, I’m quite sure if I’d been shopping with you, it just may have been a financially disastrous day for me — so many pretties!
