When You Wake Up Early, What You Will Find

French Lantern

I woke up early, mid August means a million brocantes:

Barjac: Wednesday throughout the week,

Isle sur la Sorgue: Thursday throughout the week,

Ville Neuve: Saturday

Carpentras: Sunday.

Lantern found last weekend. I was at the brocante early, and the dealer had not yet set it down. (You can see in the background, that the dealers hadn't yet set up.) I asked how much, negotiated, and walked away with an old lantern for ten Euros.

It will hang in the entrance of the Paris apartment. Of course it needs some TLC, but after it will give me TLHappiness!

    Some friends purchased a sweet little cottage rental. They call it the Love Nest. I drive them crazy when I call it the Love Shack. Maybe the Paris apartment can be called Le Chateau de Amour.
    The lantern is superb and the price is stunning!

    Have you heard about the huge brochante in Lille? I think it’s at the end of August and I read it is the largest in France. I’m sure you know of it.
