  1. how very interesting!

  2. This would have made another great ‘what is it?’ contest. We never would have guessed it.

This is so delicate and lovely.
By the way, I just toured through your sidebar photo albums of Sacha/Chelsea and also all the family. Fun to remember stories you shared when you first posted them, poignant to see your dad and read the caption “Dad, Chelsea, and I always drive…”, and then there’s this wonderful quartet of photos of you and Annie that I didn’t remember seeing before. My very favorite.

I have been reading your blog for a very long time. While I don’t share your fondness for the brocante I enjoy reading about your family, in Paris and California, about Annie, your trips and your comparisons of the American and French lifestyle and customs. I especially enjoy reading about your home improvement projects. But, Corey, you are a big tease.
I was faithfully following the remodeling of your kitchen, anxiously anticipating the “big reveal” and we never got one. Looks like the same is happening with the Paris apartment. Just when it looks like all is done and we get a glimpse of the bedding, the chandelier, Chelsea in the kitchen you quietly just wander off of Paris and change the subject.
