Who has the longest hair?

Preliminary viewing since one of my nieces had to study for finals. Chelsea who is not in the contest (She would lose anyway, had to throw that in.) took a photo of my nieces and I so we could have an idea as to what has been growing behind us.

Left to Right:

Kate is 8.

Molly is ten.

Moi… I am 55… I should have extra points: Because my hair was the shortest when we started, plus my age and that I dye my hair!

Maci is 13.

Marie is 14

Gina is not in the photo.

 

Who has the longest hais this year? I think it will be Marie, or maybe Maci. We will see soon enough.

    It’s Marie but Corey, you should be proud of yourself because there is actually a competition going on, not like last time, your hair was, well, short!

    Marie’s head is a little higher so I think her hair is longer than Maci’s. Did you know that Maci is quite a good photographer? She is in my 4-H Photo class.

    What fun that you’re still having the longest hair competition with your nieces. It looks like Marie will be the winner. 🙂 I haven’t cut my hair in almost two years. I’m just waiting until April so that I can chop off the minimum 10″ to donate to Locks of Love.

    I think it’s Marie based on measured actual follicle length and to where on the body the ends fall.
    However, Auntie Corey wins on technical Va Va Voom Vivaciousness points!

    I suppose it will depend on whether the hair is measured wet or dry…but it looks like Marie is the winner. What a great way to engage with your darling nieces. I too have not cut my 55 year old hair in about a 1 1/2 years…it is past my back shoulder blades…Getting closer to cutting it soon, I think. Corey, will you be feeling the scissors anytime in the near future? or, is this contest going to continue the next year?

    Looks like Marie on the right. But, just so there is an even playing field, maybe everyone should flat iron their hair. Then I think the winner might be Maci.

    I vote for Molly and Maci. Why? Because as a person with naturally wavy hair, I agree with Diogenes that flat-ironing would reveal the true amount of growth. Also, the curlier one’s hair, the more it’s prone to breakage, which makes it harder to grow out.

    I love that they all have that wavy hair, either they wear it in braids and take it down for the photo, or they have all inherited it. You look like a teenager from behind too. Woohoo!
