To live in Westport for a few months. Maybe I will when French Husband follows his bucket list to sail across the Atlantic, or Cape Horn…

I'll wait by the Pacific.

  1. These are some glorious blues.

Blue is a favorite color. I’m glad you started out the week with it. All of your photos are lovely, no matter the color.

All colors occurring in Nature are beautiful, IMHO. Blue must be the most abundant, owing to sky and sea, I’d guess. The many shades at Cassis are dazzling.

  4. I don’t usually care that much, for blue. But your Paris Blue, is winning.♡

  5. Oh, what color am I? All the variations of red, pink, wine color, etc.♡

  6. hello, Corey! my best friend [antiques dealer] scored a big fun find this weekend in Atlanta – out of the depths of a garage, she found four connected stadium seats from the old stadium that was torn down in the 70’s in Pittsburgh! blue chippy paint, with seat numbers and cast iron scrolly legs – can you even imagine?! Bet there are more than a few Steelers fans who would love to see them – will be interesting to see who buys them from her shop!
hello to beautiful Annie for me –
    all best, from Fort Worth

  7. So many beautiful blues, I love all shades, as long it’s not the blues. 😉
And here Joni’s song for you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pbn6a0AFfnM

Blue is the Warmest Color. A good film. Relieved I watched it with my husband and not my Mother 😉

  9. Gorgeous photos of blue, especially the door. Of course, in Nice, it’s shades of “Mediterranean” blue every day!

  10. So beautiful, but not here. Color me white, more snow on the way!

  11. Ahhhh, the blues of France are so noteworthy and beautiful. For some reason I associate blue with France. Right now my color is yellow, as the daffodils are shining just for me.

  12. Carolyn from Pittsburgh

I also think of France as blue. My color is red but a blue shirt will sometimes light up my faded old blue eyes and give this old girl a lift…just like those lovely blue shutters on an old building.

  13. What color am I? Orange most of the time and then other times, I am blue.

  15. Blue for me. The color of the sky and sea. The beautiful album of Joni’s. Delft, Spode, Blue Willow, Indigo, the deep blue of the night sky, Texas bluebonnets, the Evening in Paris cologne I won as a third grader for the spelling bee, the Blue Ridge Parkway. I love blue.
Here is Joni’s song about Beethoven and his passion for music, even in the face of deafness. Beautiful lyrics.

p.s. every blue needs yellow and white!

  16. Love blue. If you ask, I’ll say “Periwinkle, a blue that winks”.
Can’t wait to see the rest of the week!
In university, I drove my pragmatic engineer father mad by quitting pre-commerce (after he pushed me out of pre-architecture — we knew too many unemployed architects!) for art school. ART SCHOOL, just so that I could play with colours.
    😉

  17. Aqua is my favorite color, but love all the blues. My 2 favorite crayola crayons as a kid: midnight blue and lemon yellow. I still recall the great discovery of those two in combination in my coloring book..the tension and the compatibility. I think I could talk about colors for hours.
