Dinner at Chelsea’s

A tiny kitchen,
A big heart,
Color with red, orange and pink.
To the tune of Peri from Brazil,
Martini with citron,
After filling apero,
Dinner with St Emilion.
Window open,
Church bells of Holy Thursday,
“Who are you at the Last Supper?”

This post thrills me. Seeing Chelsea so happy and making a family dinner in her own place. Absolutely charming. Sigh.

  6. How special to have Chelsea host dinner in her home. What an extra special treat. Loved seeing her tiny kitchen.

Flashback to your first apartment in Paris.
That is what I see. Like mother-Like daughter.
    Tiny~Sweet and Tiny~Charming.

  8. Oh, what a lovely boost! Darling girl, darling kitchen, so much fun.
I was enjoying all of the the pictures of Chelsea with her fabulous smile and thinking how unusual it was to not see her making any funny faces.
THEN I came to Yann, LOL! Now we know where she gets it from. Are you two too young to remember the movie Funny Face with Audrey Hepburn? If so, I imagine you can find the song I Love Your Funny Face on YouTube.
Thanks, so much, Corey, for sharing your beautiful family!

  9. Post not boost. I think we were all better spellers without autocorrect.

  10. Oh la’ la’! How Parisien! The next Rachel Khoo in the making, I can see! Really incredible what can be cooked up in a little Paris kitchen. As your photos show Corey, it’s mostly about the company that gathers around foodie occasions, than the delicacies themselves. Is that Mr Espresso (or what it Cappuccino?) featuring in a photo for a first time!
Forgot to say I received that amazing 1800s Belle Arte sketch of Louis in perfect nick and now just need to frame and set in my small brocante / Francophile corner of my bedroom!

  11. such a wonderful girl… the time we spent with you and Chelsea was insightful…imaginative…lovely! xo N

  12. Ah, she’s so beautiful. What a thrill to see your little girl grown up and serving you in her own home.

  14. Is that…Mr. Espresso?!
Happy Easter to you and your family.

  15. How lovely!! It’s when they go out on their own, make their own home and invite you into it that you realize – they really did notice all those special little things you did. Funny how we sometimes wonder if all the work we do is worth it. Then, they cook you dinner and you know it was worth every ounce of effort. I’m so happy for you.

  16. Judging from your comments & photos over the past few months, you have a lovely family and a happy life. With world news filled with such chaos and tragedy it is so refreshing to have a glimpse of joy and contentment. Thank you for sharing and Happy Easter.

  17. That young woman looks like she knows her way around a kitchen. I laughed at Yann’s face-making and thought what Carol thought..that’s where Chelsea gets it from. My how your “children” have grown up since you started this blog. So wonderful to see them so happy! May you all have a Blessed and Happy Easter.
