Love from Willows

When I was seventeen my mother's good friend Ellen had a baby. Ellen and her husband lived in a big old house in the foothills. When Ellen went into labor in the middle of the night I went to her home to babysit their two year old boy. Talk about scared… that house, in the dark, in the middle of nowhere… alone with a baby.

The next day Ellen and her husband Mike brought their baby Nicol home.

Today Nicol and her husband where in Paris celebrating their ten year wedding anniversary.

  3. What a lovely family story of shared adventures.
I would have been scared out in the country too.
We once lived in the country and sometimes I crawl
on the floor below windows so no one outside could
    see me. Silly!
