Thank you for your comments regarding migraines. Who knew so many of us suffered with such. I read and re read each comment, and will take heed of the advice given. Those of us who have migraines understand that it is a tricky thing to treat. With drugs or no drugs it isn’t easy to manage or live with. Whenever I wish for something, after I wish good health and happiness for my family and friends, I sneak in no more migraines please.

On another note, as you know there were some problems with the server I use to write my blog. Those issues have been resolved. The weird ad that appeared randomly when some of you clicked on my blog, is gone. It seems the comment section is working right for most of you, and soon my blog will have a facelift and with that the old wrinkles will be made smooth.

After much frustrations with the email subscription not working properly, and trying BLOGLOVIN’ only to find out that it sent my blog out sometimes, but not all the time I have decided to pay for FEEDBLITZ’S help. And instantly I was impressed. So on the top right hand corner of my blog you will see FEEDBLITZ email subscription. It costs nothing to you. But my blog will come to you whenever I update which is daily. Plus you can add it to Pinterest, Facebook or whatever social media that you would like to share it.

Whew.

Annie is home

Annie is coming home! The cast is off! Annie comes home Monday.

Thank you for your prayers and good thoughts. I believe in the energy of love, of holding someone in your heart, thank you for giving that to Annie.

Sunday flea market

And please remember I love the brocante.

Come let the brocante bug bite you.

My shop is always open, to see it click here, or on the link on the top

right corner of this blog, under the email subscription link.

Now that all is good, I want to thank you for being such loving faithful and generous readers of my blog. Chelsea said the other day when she greeted a renter of our apartment in Paris, “Mom, everyone who rents the apartment from your blog, I feel I have known them forever, they are so loving and kind! It is as if your blog is a magnate for good people.”

Ah gee! Who could ask for anything more!

Thank you.

  1. We are all connected thru you..I follow some of your friends, and of course Annie and her life. I am so glad she is coming home soon. Great picture of her by the way.
Migraines; I have had a few in my life, not to often. I keep Toroidal on hand just in case. It usually knocks it in 24 hours. Mine come on in the fall and it is sinus induced. Haven’t had one for a year, but I have friends who suffer so much.
    Hugs to you Corey.

My daughter puts peppermint oil on her temples when she is getting a headache. It gets rid of her headache.

Hooray, Annie’s coming home!!! Kiss her on the cheek and bring her some fresh local fruit for me. :-))) (Also, if she needs any additional safety bars, etc., in her home, can they be installed? I’m reaching the point where I’m starting to appreciate first-hand their usefulness!).

  7. Happy Homecoming to Annie . . .
Away, far away with migraines . . .

  10. Chelsea’s words are so sweet. Know that when my Claire and I can find our Paris budget, we will be in touch about renting your apartment. We dream of it!
And I am so happy to hear the news of Annie. I think of her strangely often, since I have never met you, let alone Annie! Your stories of her are very tender and remind me of so many I have loved who were older and whom I miss. I will continue to pray that she heals and has a lovely home coming.

  11. I just love my daily dose of this – thank you so much and thank you to everyone in this sweet community. I read all the comments and feel so lucky to be part of this special group. Welcome home Annie.

  13. Miracle indeed. I’ve had 3 migraines in my life and I truly sympathize with you and others. The second migraine sent me to ER where I got an injection which worked like a miracle …the third time (years later) I had a reaction to the IV and thought I might die it was such a horrible experience.
Of interest, when I got my first migraine, I read somewhere that if you feel a migraine coming on, take a TBSP of raw honey (the honeycomb part) and sit very still…the raw honey opens the blood vessels in the head (which is what causes the migraine). Take more honey as needed. That is how I got rid of my 1st migraine but forgot about it since I get migraines so infrequently. So now I keep raw honey on hand just in case because I NEVER want to go through it again.
Happy days that Annie is home. Take care. Very thankful for miracles.

  14. So happy Annie is coming home!

I feel like an old friend is back now that your blog appears daily in my mailbox once again. I suffered from migraines all through the child rearing years and finally got relief from a drug called inderol. My sister still suffers, and I sent her a recommendation I heard that a cranial sacral chiropractor could help. I am a big fan of acupuncture and reiki., they are both a wonderful source of relaxation, and just might help!!

Delighted Annie coming home – and I am once more getting Tongue in Cheek directly. My sister had been forwarding the blog when I was having trouble. Thank you.
