Sunday Brocante

Sunday Brocante

Sunday brocante, sunrise to sunset, go when you want.

One of the added surprises of going to the brocante is discovering old towns.

This weekend we went to places we had never been before.

Beautiful villages,

Beautiful brocantes,

discoveries around each corner and under every table.

I am amazed I found anything considering how many other people were there.

I found some paintings, dishes, a quilt, African art, an antique platter for Chelsea, some things for my online shop, plus nick nack and paddy wack.

  7. Summer in France, dreaming of it still. Those beautiful trees, sparkling with magic.

  8. While I am a woman who somehow did not inherit the brocante bug, I love visiting small towns that are new to me. Lovely pictures.

  9. Now wondering where this brocante is?
It looks somewhat familiar, like one we went to
while in France. The one where I found to vintage
linen bed sheets with my initials on them. Oh I love
those beads and the roses in the vase.

How lovely! What village was this? (Now that the brocante is over, you don’t have to keep it a secret anymore. And it looks like more than several other people found it anyway.)
Oh that chalk board menu! I wanna go back and eat there! Now.

  13. Did you ‘give a dog a bone’ after that knick knack and paddy whack? ;P
