Stories Collected While Living in France
It looks positively magical! Journal France 2 just had a feature about a brocante in Lille. I didn’t see you shopping on the video 🙂

Love, love, love Monet’s Garden in Giverny!! It was 1982 and I had attended a slide show that was sponsored by our local art association. A woman had just come back from France and had visited Giverny, I watched that slide show in complete awe and vowed to myself I would go there some day. It took 30 years but I made it there. I think I took 200 pictures that afternoon. So beautiful.
Such beauty Monet created for himself to paint at Giverney!
Oh my!
Frozen in time..
Wonderful.
My girls and used to pour over Linnea in Monet’s Garden, a darling children’s book that captured our imaginations. I love seeing photos of that beautiful place.

Your photos bring back memories of our visit to Monet’s garden a few years ago. So tranquil and lush. Thanks, Corey!
Lovely. I studied Art and it would be a dream come true to ever go to the birthplace of the paintings.
“Linnea in Monet’s Garden” is one of my favorite childrens’ books so to see this garden in person is a lifelong dream. Thank you for posting your lovely pictures, it feels like the second best thing to being there myself =).
