Nose gone.

Other hand gone.

Most the body poof gone.

Her faded golden wing, smithereens.

Though she is still holding on.

Probably cursing me.

  1. Oh noooo, what a terrible thing to happen to such a gorgeous piece! I would have cried buckets. But despite all that, she is still beautiful.

  2. Oh, noooo!! So sad!!! She is still a beauty!! Think of this mishap as “adding character.” (I’m trying here, Corey! So unlucky!)

  3. She’s still quite beautiful. If I hadn’t known she had just been broken, I would have been congratulating you on your interesting find and wondering about her history.

  4. so sorry-I know that all too well.

  5. She looks very pretty the way she is. Could she be placed in your garden? Maybe you could attempt to put some of the pieces back with glue-but really, she looks pretty the way she is.

  6. That has got to be the worst feeling… perhaps the bits can be glued together in some way?

  7. Try to glue her back together. It’s worth a try!

  8. Tongue in Cheek

I’m going to try to glue it back, but I don’t think it is going to look as good;)

  9. ((((Corey)))

  10. Oh, I feel your pain. We brought every crystal wedding gift we received, within a year. And they were not even old and precious!

    I’m sorry, Corey. That’s such a shame.

  12. oh dang! that’s a bad feeling.

  13. So, so sorry Corey! But I agree with the others; she does look good as is.

  14. Oh SAD! This happens sometimes, we grieve, then we move on.

  15. Perhaps a professional restorer could make it (almost) right again. They can do wonders…
