Sweet Sixteen

Gina's surprise party

Photo taken by my sister in law Diane Amaro, Gina's mom.

My niece Gina had a surprise party "Dress up as your favorite Princess" for her sixteenth.

16!

16.

Surprise birthday Princess party.

This is one of those times I wish Willows wasn't so far away.

Though I have no idea what Princess I would have been, my Mom use to call me Cinderella.

Hum. Maybe I would have gone as a frog, just to be funny.

What Princess (or Prince) would you be?

Have you seen "Into the Woods"?

  1. Happy birthday, Gina!
What a wonderful idea for a party.
I have no idea what princess I would choose…never really thought of myself as the princess type, even when a child. Love your idea of being a frog, Corey 😉
I have not seen Into the Woods yet but know I will love it. I’m not much for moviegoing in the theater; I’d rather watch at home so I can re watch at will. So I guess this one will be a few more months yet for me. Saw the Broadway version on public television years ago and it became an instant favorite, so bring on the mixed up fairy tales!

  2. Le Petit Prince 🙂

  3. I am not really a princess type, although when my sister and I were little, we received our first watches— mine was Alice In Wonderland and my sister’s was Cinderella-and somehow that seemed to stick— always through the looking glass and odd well maybe different experiences in my life….what a beautiful picture of all the princesses so PRETTY!!

  4. Was there a bookish princess? If so, I’d be her!

  5. What a sweet idea for a sweet 16 birthday. Happy Birthday to the birthday girl. May she always be treated as a princess.

  6. What a fantastic 16th birthday. Your niece is a gem!

I dont look too good in a princess dress…I tried it once but it did not work too well for me..so i will stay with the frog, it is more my character!!…lol..lol

    Princess Diana, of course.

  9. I would be the gray Cinderella…still hoping to meet the handsome prince who promises ever lasting happiness.

Adorably sweet Sweet Sixteen, Mademoiselle Gina!
PS Postacard Number 52 is probably a sweet sixteen as well!
