With great sadness, the words I do not want to type, nor say,

My dear friend, Annie has passed away today.

Thank you for loving Annie, and cheering her stories. Thank you for your prayers for her these last few months and for putting up with my silence and hardly posting. 

 

My dear Annie I will miss you terribly.

    At one point, she called you, “Cherie”. It rolled off her lips so naturally. You were
    her loved one, her daughter of her heart. As an older woman with many younger
    women as friends, I thank you on behalf all wornen befriended by younger women
    who give them their love and time.
    Time will cover the scar on your broken heart, but Annie’s love will be with you forever.
