Corey, those bright colors look really good on you! I know you’re a fan of black, like me, but I must say the color looks good too.

the pictures are great and OH BOY can I relate!!

Ladies, time for the self threading kind of needles. They have a little slot and you just push the thread down into it. A miraculous invention. I have some made by Singer.

Oh yes, threading the needle can be a challenge. I recognize that look. Looking forward to the final results.

That is the best picture of you ever! Love the bright colored top. A lady on a sewing show suggested you get the head of the needle moist, then thread it. It makes it a bit easier. Hand sewing of course, not the machine needle

The older I get, the larger-eyed needles I buy 🙂

Corey, With bead weaving it can be very difficult to thread your needle . Tiny needles are needed to get through tiny beads.
The mantra amongst many bead weavers is to, “needle the thread not thread the needle”. So you hold the thread between your thumb and first finger so that only the thread is barely showing. Take the needdle with your other hand and push it onto the the thread. Usually works like a charm.
Can’t wait to see the finished product. -
Ohhhhhhhh, these looks at the thread and needle are so very familiar! I’m laughing, but yet, I’m not! <3

Who is this woman in bright multiple colors and what has she done with Corey-who-wears-black?
I LOVE the animated smiles! So fun.
