Whatever You Can do So Can I

As Ruth and I prepared notes for the French Muse next week, Sacha and Ruth's five year old son Louis had a push up contest.

First they did as many as they could.

And they did quite a few.

I cannot and have never been able to do one.

Whatever You Can do So Can I

Sacha thought he could win, and yet he knows that Louis is little and should be given a chance to shine.

But soon after that thought he saw that Louis is a push up machine.

Whatever You Can do So Can I

Sacha started laughing that nervous laugh. Louis kept pushing.

Whatever You Can do So Can I

Sacha challenged with one hand.

But guess what…

Whatever You Can do So Can I

Louis did not falter.

Can you do push ups? With one hand?

So cute! Who’s the little one?

  2. hoo boy. We do them in an exercise class I take. My wrists can’t take it, so I do them standing against the barre. I can do them that way….does that count? No?….I didn’t think so.

  3. Lord no I cannot do a single one without cheating and doing them with my knees down! Good luck on the next French Muse – hoping to join one day!

  4. So who won? I can maybe do one and that is it.

  5. In my 50’s I have finally learned to do push-ups. And ladies let me tell you…they are the bomb for your arms! Love this post Corey!

  6. no and no!

  7. Oh gosh, no.

  9. This is too funny. And I wish I were doing the coming French Muse with you and Ruth.

Well, reduce the muscles in their upper bodies and make them wear 20-pound sand bags on their hips and we might stand a chance. I’m with you…just can’t do it.
