Last minute details of a well planned journey.
Ruth and I are giddy as the group coming are antique dealers, they want to buy for their shops and homes. How perfect is that! Of course we have other activities too, like Indigo dying antique linens. I hope my hands will not be blue forever. I know gloves are needed, but I also know how I am… jump first think later.
Antiquing to fill a container!! I cannot wait to begin.
Ruth and I sent teaser photos of antiques,
the buying has already started.
One glorious splash will that container make when it arrives in the USA.
Meanwhile Ruth and I are setting up the house with flowers, chocolates, champagne, music, good food… A retreat in Provence.
The last French Muse Experience we visited over nine Provencal villages, four private homes and had Ruth drive us around with ease, in between visits, and once in the car I slept in the back of the van like a leftover suitcase.
Ruth drove, I cooked.
We are the perfect team.
Not because Ruth drives and I cook, but because WE live here, we are "lifers", our husband's are French and our children too, therefore we are rooted deep into life in Provence.
Our homes, our hearts.
And duh the brocante.
The saying goes, "Anytime is a good time to go to Paris", well hey… the same goes about Provence,
and Normandy,
and the Loire,
and the Alps,
and the Riviera,
and as you see where I am going with this…
France anytime is the best time.
Hopefully the next few days I will be able to type a word in here and there. If not I promise I will post so many photos you will either get tired of me, or jump on the next plane.
I will be posting our French Muse on Facebook and Instagram, you can follow us there if you want to see it all.
I am so excited!
Now off to those last minutes…
