We Are Safe…

Ruth and I are in Paris; we had dinner three minutes away from the attacks. As we left the restaurant, we heard ambulances; the area seemed electrified; we had no idea what was happening until we got home, and our husbands were calling us in panic.

Chelsea is not in Paris; she left this evening to visit a friend, and Sacha is with Yann. Mr. Espresso is in Paris but at home.

Thank you for your concern.

We are safe, and the shock is setting in.

Please pray for those who died and the families who will receive such horrific news tonight.

    So glad you posted the whereabouts (and safety) of all your (OUR) family in France there. What a family feeling your blog has developed. So thanks for updating us. Now I shall learn what I can about these attacks, and mourn for those who were not so fortunate.

    Our love is with you and for you. I am grateful you and your family are safe.
    But , you are there and the strike was against your city and country so I know this is very very hard on you. Those of us that are upright kind and loving are one and we ache and mourn for all those wounded and and killed. We can’t imagine why such atrocities can be in the heart and mind of others.
    Let our focus be on our Heavenly Father and the love he can give us and sustain us. Let us live not only in awareness of evil, but more aware of the love we can develop in ourselves and give to others . Let us let each minute count more , be more whole and authentic in our love.
    Really I am at a loss for words, shocked. But I know as the bible says, the greatest of characteris love. I am praying that sustains you and your country . We are standing beside you and for you. Love, jody

    In our little town of Woodland, CA we lit a red candle at the altar this morning for the city of Paris and said prayers to those who lost loved ones there. France gave the United States the Statue of Liberty many years ago and it stands proud in the New York harbor.
