Graduation Dinner

Graduation Dinner

After graduation, we watched some pre-selected movie clips that the students produced and were presented at a jury. Sacha worked on a series of them that played at the cinemathequ in Paris. Later I took a nap to gather some energy to go out to dinner.

Dinner toast to the graduate

One of the happiest feeling is seeing these two so close supportive, true and good to one another.

I scored being their mom.

Grateful for the ease.

Brasserie Julien

Sacha's choice of restaurant:

Brasserie Julien in Paris.

After dinner we had champagne… Chelsea, Alice and Mr Espresso had

Profiteroles for dessert, they were like boats on a sea of melted chocolate.

I had Baba rhum, because rhum sounded soothing….

French Husband had a pear tiramisu…

and Sacha?

crepe suzette flambee

Crepe Suzette flambee, it was a masterpiece.

Thank you for your caring, loving, happy notes yesterday. It was a wonderful day. A good celebration. We are happy and proud and hoping years of fulfilling work for Sacha.

  10. Our families, our core groups, the unconditional love and pride are where our blessings lie in a world where these things can be so tenuous.

Big Congratulations to Sacha! Very well done! You must be one proud mama, Corey.
Your blog has not been updated on Bloglovin’ for almost 2 weeks. I missed a lot of your posts and just caught up. I hope you feel a lot better since that nasty bug had caught you again.

Congratulations to you and your family! So wonderful to see you having a good time, and isn’t it great to interact with your children as adults? My son and daughter are similar in ages to yours, I shall look forward to swapping stories when I spend time with you in May!

  14. Delightful to see your joy:-)

What a beautiful place — I went to their website and oohed and ahhed over all the art deco decor. (And now I see a part of the stained glass skylight overhead in the bottom pic of you all.)
It doesn’t look super vegetarian oriented. What did you have?
congrats to Sasha, and to his parents as well.

  16. Tongue in Cheek

Hum????I wonder why? I will look into it.

  17. Tongue in Cheek

    I cannot wait!

Dessert and Champagne! lol, and fish.

  19. Rebecca, I noticed that about the menu too. I’d have ordered the Mushroom Soup (while not asking if there was chicken stock in it, LOL) and the salad/cheese plate. And a pastry dessert, although there are so many from which to choose that I’d probably share half of mine with Farmboy Husband in return for half of his, so we could each sample two!

Congratulations!!! What an accomplishment and time to celebrate with family. These images look like they should be in a book on living the french life. Your son and daughter are so sweet together. Wonderful!
    xx, Heather
