The Answer to the Italian Guessing Game and I Need you to help me pick a creative winner….

The museum also preserves a very fine collection of old ceramics and the 17th century hand warmers in the shape of shoes.

Ceramic shoes in various designs are from Palazzo Davanzati museum in Florence,

they are a very rare collection of 17th century hand warmers in the shape of shoes.

I had never seen such a thing, and decided it might be a good Antique Guessing Game.

"I am not sure how large these are. If they are on the smaller side, they are probably hand warmers…"

They are called: ass-kickers. For the too worldly who deem it below them to take a swing with their own foot.

Having spent the week with my sis-in-law, her lovely husband, and their out-of-town son and daughter-in-law and their 3 year old and 9 month old (plus Darling David) I completely vote for BOOZE FOR PARENTS. And for great aunts. Those kids cried/screamed almost all of every night. Their poor parents. And their poor everyone else in the house. That said, it was a lovely week together. And I cannot tell you how happy I am to be at the airport on the way to our quiet home.

  26. Haha..I gotta say “shoes for booze” is a really good one!
