My friend Mo Reves d'Argile created these ceramic feathers…

Continuing work on two miniature theaters.Your photos are lovely.Hope you will share your finished projects with us, 🙂

  2. I’m working on a quilt, so I will be trimming the squares so they lay flat when I sew them together. 🙂 I thought it would be tedious, but it is not. I am enjoying it!

I’m making a mirror ( another mirror). Love mirrors and love making them.

I decided to try to make a buche de noel type cake. I’ve always wanted to try it but felt intimidated. It’s in the fridge cooling. To flavor it, I broke green cardamom pods and toasted the seeds inside, then crushed them. The filling is a buttercream with more cardamom, ginger and cinnamon. I hope it works!

  6. You crafty folk!
I have been “feng shui”ing my house for the past couple weeks, moving things around. Could that count?

  7. I did further polishing on two poem translations I’d begun a couple years ago, then sent them off to a collaborator to check over. They’re part of a cycle of 11 poems I’ve been working on by an elderly native Azorean author, who by coincidence happens to be a distant cousin! Hope to complete them all this winter, then look for a place to publish them.

Today, I’m sketching out a design to transform a nondescript Ikea ceiling fixture into a pseudo Tiffany lamp.

  11. I too love the bowl….and the thought of having tea!
I’m going to my friends house to have tea this weekend and she is going to let me pull from her treasures to set the table for a gathering! I love playing with others treasures as well as mine!
Love your artful ways! I suddenly have an empty room at my shop to fill up on short notice. The theme is Romantic, and will be until after Valentine Day. Vintage letters, and greeting cards…small vignettes of “Picnics”, “Letter Writing”, small suitcases packed for a romantic get away, or meeting your loved one for a special date….put together with things of the past.
Love your blog, Corey, God’s blessings to you!

  12. beautiful little touches to your home…. small vignettes that catch the eye are lovely & enjoyable for me, too. and, it’s all just “old junque”, wonderful stuff. thanks for sharing your creative, “tiny moments”.
