Thank You!

Brocante corey amaro friends

Thank you.

I am deeply touched that YOU are here, some of you have been following Tongue in Cheek for so long that I feel I know you. I am fortunate, happy, amazed, thankful that I have you in my daily life.

Yesterday I was so excited to share our news about Cassis. I am terrible at keeping secrets, so to keep Cassis a secret until we signed for it, wasn't easy. I wanted to share about it since day one.

Thank you for being happy for us.

Thank you for the wonderful, endearing, generous friendship you have given me during all these years.

xoxo

  1. Dear Corey…You and your entire family are so deserving of good things and “we” your followers are all delighted for you. May you and yours enjoy your “new” apartment for many years to come. The friendship we share flows both ways as do the Thank Yous.

  5. It is amazing how long I have been an online friend with you. Your blog was the first I started reading so many years ago. When I worked it was my ray of sunshine break during the day.

  6. Of course we’re happy for you.
I keep hearing the old Bain de Soliel commercial in my head:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIICARbcYpI
“In St. Tropez that’s almost all they wear….”

  7. Corey, you DO realize that some of us are simply drooling over the prospect of renting your Cassis pied-à-terre for a length of stay to be determined, don’t you?

  8. RebeccaNYC

  11. I love my little morning visits to your part of France with my coffee each day. Some things are so similar to our life here on the French Atlantic coast and some things are so different, it’s fun comparing the two and now you have the Cassis apartment, how incredibly exciting, so happy for you.x

I’m not a blogger or a brocanter but a seeker of the good life and beauty from all around. A cup of coffee in a cafe with you will bring lots to me.

Thank YOU!! Your blog brings me joy. You are a wonderful writer and photographer. And a lovely woman.

  18. hehehe, every once in a while I will retell something you’ve written or photographed or whatever and it always starts “I have this friend in France that I follow….” Although we’ve never met, and probably never will, it’s fun and insightful to read your adventures everyday. As they say hear in the south of CA. “I am WAY excited to see how you remodel your new apartment!”

  19. And thank YOU for sharing so many parts of your life in such an interesting and visually gorgeous manner. Our toes are literally twitching in excitement and anticipation for your new adventure in Cassis!

So fun watching you rescue the past in old buildings! Someday let us see what Yann does, how he navigates the ruins and wrecks that you later turn into petit chateau;) it would be interesting…

    PS
11 feet wide? Is that a typo? If not, this is going to be interesting:)

Ditto Corey! (and we enjoy the Corey-friends too!)
BTW, I just remember to say this. Speaking, as you were in a different post, of the Cassis stairway that you can barely squeeze through (really?) let me beg you to take lots of good “before” pictures. Including with people for scale, as in those tight stairways so we can get an idea of how tight they are. Looking forward to the process!
