Roses are red
Violets are blue
Corey finds treasure
That are perfect for you.
I wanted to say
Corey finds treasure
That give utter pleasure
but that doesn’t make the correct rhyme!
Roses are red
Violets are blue
August 20th
Will find me close to you.
Martini, martini,
The drink I like most.
Two I’m under the table,
Three I’m under the host.
I can’t lay claim to this it’s a Dorothy Parker quote. Not what you’re looking for but it rhymes.
Inspired by Diogenes, I will give you this saucy (non violet nor rose) poem, that was taught to me by a saucy 86 year old when I was about 27:
Here’s to the love life of the camel
Which is stranger than anyone thinks.
In moments of amorous passion
He often makes love to the sphinx.
But the sphinx’s posterior entrance
Has been closed by the sands of the Nile,
which accounts for the hump on the camel,
and the sphinx’s inscrutable smile.
Imagine learning THAT from a saucy old lady! Oh wait, I’m almost that old lady now.
Corey feel free to delete this if it’s too out of line. xoxRC

No. The photo was on my blog last year at this time. Maggie was here and we spent many weeks walking around the countryside. The photo is in her honor.
