Maybe I Should Play the Lottery?

  

 

Remember how I wanted to change the window in Cassis, and I was quoted 1500 Euros. Well I went a hunting around salvage yards, and found one!!!! (Yes that many exclamation marks!) As the window in the fisherman's house is not a standard size I didn't expect to be lucky, but I was. An 1800s wooden window, rounded top, interior shutters and original hardware for 60 Euros! It feels like winning the lottery. 

Happy beyond measure.

 

 

 

 

 

Maybe I should play the lottery, maybe I am on a lucky roll?

    I just bought the latest Victoria magazine. So much fun to read about your Paris apartment. Can’t believe they didn’t note the baptismal font that is now the bathroom sink. The chandelier! I will never forget your story about getting and installing it.

    I just picked up Victoria yesterday, and my T and I are reliving our week in Paris and our incredible time in the apartment. Wonderful to have it before our eyes once again. But I agree with Kipper. No mention of the baptismal is a crime.
