The home we stay in is at the base of Lacoste, it is surrounded with acres of private land with overgrown natural beauty, scrub oak where truffles rest. The ffhouse is made of stone and has six bedrooms. Each guest has their own room.

The pink silk Marie Antoinette armchair is the best place in the house. Though if I sit there I will be asleep in two minutes or less.

Wow. Beautiful, and I would be afraid of ruining something every minute. I am inspired by the silk curtains though. Maybe at my next house.

Fabulous. I love that the furniture isn’t all painted distressed white, with chairs recovered in grain sacks. That look is nice, and I do like it but not if everybody does the same thing. Sometimes real antiques, with beautiful fabrics, feel fresh just because they aren’t very common.

Looks so restful..the decor & pieces authentic & charming & just like a step back in time..that’s the kind of experience I’d want if I ever get the chance.

  8. Our French Oasis

Looks extremely elegant and traditional which I do like. I also love the curtains. Beautiful

  9. How lovely. I do like the floral thick silk curtains, and it’s nice to see them not over take the room like I see in many rooms now. Very peaceful and elegant.

So lovely – I’d come just for the accommodations! But I can just imagine the fun you’re having…and the treasures found!
