I would love to make shortcake with my strawberries, but would hate to deprive the squirrels in our yard their datenight feast!
Oh how I miss these strawberries! We do not have strawberries this delicious and delicately perfumed in Canada! We have strawberries from California — sturdy things that transport well, but as for flavour…
The local strawberries are not doing well this year because of our drought.
While it is cloudy and will likely rain this weekend, it may be too late to save the berries.
Oh Corey — I would move back for the strawberries alone, but you know, there are so many other reasons!
