Something New to Share… Daily French Photo

Beauty

Because I have been blogging for nearly twelve years, everyday, I have a ton of photos.

I see my photos pop up on pinterest, other blogs, facebook, instagram, etc. and usually they are not linked nor credited to my blog or name.

If you want to use my photos for your social media or otherwise please remember to link back with my blog address with: Photo via Corey Amaro.

  1. I love your photos. You have a very good eye!

I love your photos, and I understand why people might want to take them, but how rude to publish them without credit. So sorry, Corey!

  3. I always enjoy your “good eye” for what to include in photos…it is a sad reality that so many folks feel that if they see a photo anywhere it is free for the taking.
Reading your blog every day for years and years of pleasure I feel the sting of what this must feel like for you…very sad.

  4. Another advantage to requesting permission to reproduce photos or writings, besides basic decency (and copyright laws!):
We virtually “met” when I emailed you for permission to use some of your Holy Ghost Festa pictures and words on one of my websites. This led to my following T-I-C, then to our corresponding occasionally via email, and eventually to Farmboy Husband and me meeting you and Yann (and Chelsea, fleetingly) in person on our trip to France!

  5. Yes, I have seen that a little bit too. Quite irritating! If they would just link and I like them to ask first too, but that won’t happen much. I think one time someone asked.

When I was a cub architect, I often took photos of the construction projects up in the sky when I did field inspections.
Imagine my surprise when one of my slides made its way into a presentation by the local AIA (architects organization)– without my permission or knowledge of course. At the time I probably had a guess how they got a copy but it’s now lost in the mists of time. This was loooong before pinterest or the interwebs.
