Stories Collected While Living in France
Wow. Lots of goodies! Love the brackets in the first picture and the vases in the fourth.
My dream day, the Carpentras brocante and Chez Serge for lunch with you and Yann for company of course! X
How come F.H.’s bags were empty? No Bunnies today???
drooling…
What lovely images!!! I wish our brocante were like that! Although I did well here this weekend…
I never see carpets at brocantes here. Or cool stone things like finials or basins. Good brocante!!!!
Looks like there were some really good finds there. We’ve had a fairly disappointing season at the few local brocantes we have visited, but yesterday we finally got lucky and found some real treasures!
Looks divine. I will be there next June, can’t wait.
What a grand day. I love the photo of Bob and Peggy busting up over Yann’s antics. I can’t wait to hear their stories. How many of those beautiful treasures did you bring home?
So many great things! Love seeing you all have a good time!
My stomach is in a knot. We leave for France in a week. Sigh…..

ME TOO!
Oooh, Corey, did you buy the bigger painting with the pewter kettle and the fruit platter with grapes and plums ? I’d love to buy that one from you xxxx
To my surprise, as I was admiring (read: lusting for a little) the rustic pots, it turns out I quite liked the 40’s moderne gold-striped carafe and glasses as well.
FH with menu board on his head, like a giant game of “guess who I am.” (I saw the video yesterday.)
But how can I come to France if I have no sense of taste? Textures, RC, textures I suppose. Sigh.
