Happy Birthday to my Blog, Eleven Years Old

Blogging for a very long time

Eleven years of blogging is very long time.

Thank you for following me, and for every kindness you have shown me. I have been so very fortunate to feel your friendship, to get to know so many of you. I cannot imagine I will ever stop because that would mean I might not see you everyday!

Thank you!

Golly, fancy 11 years of blogging….I have not been following TiC for as long as that, but I have become accustomed to your face and your family and your lovely house and your friends, neighbours, words of wisdom, lovely photos, foodie stories – OF COURSE THE BROCANTE and so much more….keep it coming!! Congratulations from New Zealand

  23. Happy BlogBirthDay chère Corey – yes, you have become a (not so) far away unknown friend and often a delight with your eye and heart at the right place.
Thank you for opening up that heart of yours to all your readers and for making them happy.
    Long may you continue
And pls don’t take it badly that I don’t comment often; I really must preserve my eye-sight and blogs are sadly not life-sustaining so often I can’t read your posts or only skip quickly through a bunch. But today I make an exception and take the opportunity to wish you once more a wonderful time with your über-loving and -caring family.
I was in Paris 1er yesterday for a concert and send you in thoughts the beautifully lit Champs-Élysées, a peek of the Grand-Palais which was dedicated in many colours of the rainbow to the Victoria Secret’s fashion show (had to explain to Hero Husband all about VS…) and a calming, wonderful concert in a festive mood and heart-rendering beauty!

Happy blogging Birthday! I feel I know you as a friend as your words warm my heart & touch my soul. I love your sincerity, laughter, love of family & friends and I feel for you being so far from your Mum. But as my dear Mum used to say ‘If you are happy wherever you are, I am happy’
I love the way other bloggers write on your blog & I see familiar names all the time, it makes the world a smaller, warmer place.
We all share the sorrows, heartaches & happiness that people are living around the world. I am spending time on a cattle farm in northern Victoria Australia and the night skies, sunsets & quietness is pure magic. My husband has had a ball ‘hay carting’ exhausted but happy.
Goodness me how I have prattled on! Take care Corey you have so much talent & a great big heart……and keep on blogging 🍷🍷

  25. Thank you for all the joy and compassion you have brought us, Corey. We have watched your children grow from charming children into lively, gorgeous, accomplished adults. The day to day has never been mundane. You have shown us beauty and grace in everything and everyone who surrounds you. We have witnessed the reunions with your California family, seeing all the love, happiness, and playfulness between the generations.
We have endured the sad times, following struggles, sickness, pain, and death of your loved ones who have become our loved ones as well. We have prayed, sent healing thoughts, worried, and shed tears along with you.
We have followed you to your beloved brocantes, kept an eye on remodels and complete renovations. Expressed opinions over styles colors
It has been a wonderful ride and I hope it continues for many more years.

  26. Complimenti. Congratulations. Yours was the first blog I ever followed and I have enjoyed it and remained loyal ever since. How wonderful that you still have lots to give and share.

  27. Thank you so much for sharing your life with me even if it is through the worldwide web.

  28. It is we who should be thanking you for being you and sharing it all with us. So Happy Birthday to you and Tongue in Cheek.
