They were ready
one with her pink satin bow,
and cotton candy hand muff.
The other in a red velvet coat with a fur collar and oversized hand me down shoes
They had their very own kissing contraption to entice sweethearts.
Together they sent out their wishes:
"Come under the mistletoe,
Come under the mistletoe,
Come under the mistletoe."
What a sweet vintage card.
So so pretty, I remember having a muff like that, on a little cord around my neck, with a bright red coat! I adored it, funny, my own children laugh at the thought of a muff, “it was in the dark ages” they like to say!!!
That card looks like photographs I remember from my mother’s or grandmother’s scrapbooks. Unfortunately, I do not have access to any of them. Any idea when this postcard was published? Merry Christmas, Corey and your delightful family!
