We probably wouldn’t see a hair product with “petrol” in the name today, but the postcards are wonderful.
The last card is pretty wonderful too…it captures the feel of the place with so few brush strokes. Thanks for sharing these.

OTOH, we still have petroleum jelly (Vaseline is a brand-name) for the skin.
A whole lot classier than “Brylcreem, a little dab’ll do ya”! Farmboy Husband said he used the stuff on his DA in high school. Yeah we’re old, I know I know…
