Love the bread and wine painting!

  2. I love the sunlight on the house facade – the warmth and brightness – beautiful and so typical.

  5. Are you sure those were egg yolks? They looked like apricots to me. Loved the paintings….

  6. Taste of France

Very beautiful, with so many styles.
The poppies already are arriving here. I am surprised they are so early. I saw a few on south-facing hills last week, and now I see them in fields. Soon the entire fields will be scarlet.

  7. We just had artichokes at dinner last week — love the ritual of eating them!

That tiny watercolor of the green waterjug! Is there more to the painting than that?
And the glass of wine — whoever painted that did a good job of making the glass and wine look transparent … and real. Now I want some red wine please.

  10. With all the rain we’ve had in California this winter, the hills and valleys are ablaze with bright orange CA poppies, especially in Lancaster. I saw a brief newsreel from the area and they were spectacular!
