Selfie of friends

Guess who is the shortest?

Selfie, Friends, France

Mari (our friend from Texas) is in France filling a container of antiques for her shop.

We met years ago through blogging, and since then we see each other often, especially since the Brocante Bug bit her.

The other night we had a neighborhood paella party, our friend Philippe was the chef.

Because I am a goof ball I am pretending to point at something.

  1. So many smiles!
How much of a hassle is it to fill a container? Whom do you use? How is dealing with customs?

  2. You may be the shortest but you are definitely the cutest! Hey Corey, do you need a ride from the airport Monday? I live real close and could take you to Marin County and meet the other half of your ride halfway!! I’m Jennie, birthday May 6, the anniversary of the big meet of Corey and Yann! I live in SF next to San Francisco State.

  3. I thought Mari WAS taste of France. If so tell her I was in her store in Feb but she had just left. Wonder if she needs an assistant on those buying trips? Sooooo fun a paella party 🎉 ????my fav!!!

    You are so cute

  5. The first time you do a container it is a massive learning curve. Hassle equals stressful. There are many companies and each has its speciality. I am not at liberty to tell you the sources Mari used. You must have a broker for the custom paper work.

  6. Hi Jennie
How thoughtful of you! Maybe we could meet at the airport when I return to France for a drink? My niece has planned to pick me up. Thank you for asking,
    xx C

  7. Hum, does Taste of France, from my blog have a shop??

Fun to see whose container you were busy filling on the Saturday we passed nearby. Fun and work (hopefully less stress this time?) combined. Lucky you!
