Brocante On Both Sides of the River

French flea market, brocante Corey Amaro

Ten rows, one river, a bridge to cross over to reach both sides of the brocante.

Walking up and down the rows on the first warm day of the year. If it weren't for the brocante I would have taken a swim and had a picnic.

When your car is parked faraway you should not buy books.

Unless, they are too good to pass up.

Mari bought a trunk load of books.

Along the river this was the view.

That is worth getting up early morning, a warm day, a ton of books and blisters.

Enlarge this plate photo to see all it has on it.

Who wants to start a collection of the regions of France

with these sort of "carte postal" plates.

I sold this one, so I am out.

Over and over the bridge, from one side of the brocante to the other side.

Oh gee such a hardship.

Not.

The overflowing sense of beauty in one spot:

The village,

the river,

the brocante…

The town of Jouques.

What a beautiful setting for a brocante…a picnic and a swim will wait for another day, no?
