Pears with Pumpkin Seed Oil

pear, pumpkin oil blue cheese salad

Our Austrian friends, Dieter and Liesolette brought us pumpkin seed oil from their family's farm. The first time I tried it I was at their home, I fell hard for it, and they have never forgotten. The pumpkin seed oil has a nutty aroma, it is good on everything and I mean everything.

Sacha came home which means I can cook for an army and see the food disappear in thin air. It is a pleasure to cook for someone who loves to eat and is complimentary at every mouthful. I must admit that I am motivated by compliments, and last minute adventures.

Sacha. Lunch. Pumpkin seed oil. Create.

Lunch for two, delicious in more ways than one, let's just say if conversation had calories I would look like a helium balloon.

Another delicious recipe for my Corey recipe file. Always a delight to prepare food for our adult children, many memories are lifted as we watch them enjoy the meal.
