As the sky darkens over the mountains where we live, I know we are in for a fast and furious downpour. These are some of the photos as we drove home.
As it doesn't rain much in Provence compared to the rest of France, when it does rain, the landscape comes alive as the dust is washed away.
Chelsea was driving, which allowed me to take photos.
Flash flood, water poured from the olive groves onto the dirt paths and then to the main road. T affect crawled.
When French Husband used to ride his motorcycle to work thirty minutes away from home, I used to call him if there was a downpour in our town (Often, if it rains in our village, it doesn't mean it is raining in Marseille.) so he could be aware of those pools of water created by the storm.
