Cassis, boat, what to do in the afternoon

Alex, a friend we recently met in Cassis, has a 1947 Trawler. As his boat is often in front of our place it was hard not to get to know him. The other afternoon, while we were in Cassis Alex called out, asking if we wanted to take a short ride, "… just thirty minutes of so, let's go." The next thing I knew we were out on the blue. I wore a dress as that was what I had on. Have you ever tried to get on a boat in a dress? A fine balancing act while trying not to expose my bottom.

If you are in Cassis let me know and I will pass on Alex' number and he will give you a ride.

omg how fun and spontaneous. The water looks as clear as a bathtub.

  2. gorgeous trawler and gorgeous photos! thanks!

  3. Tis!! And very cold, mainly because there are many natural springs running into it.

  4. How I wish I could run right over. It looks just amazing and I love, love the water.

It must have been hard to resist jumping into that beautiful water, no matter how cold it is! High temperatures Tuesday through Friday here in Portland are supposed to be higher than 100° each day, with two days reaching highs from 105° to 113°, so cold water sounds very appealing! This city is not equipped to cope with such high temperatures, so I’m not sure what we will do. Maybe I’ll just gaze at your gorgeous water pictures!
