Are You Receiving my Blog

Corey amaro Blog

Are you receiving my blog? It has been brought to my attention that some of you are not receiving it by email as you usually do?

Hum.

I do not truly understand why, but I am working on it.

If you aren't receiving it by email and would like to please subscribe by clicking the subscribe button at the top of this page

and filling out the required fields. If you have been receiving it and suddenly you haven't been please re-subscribe by clicking the button and filling out the required fields.

Also, you can follow me on Facebook and Instagram.

I hope I can figure out what is wrong but until then please (re) subscribe.

Thanks.

How long have you been following me? I started blogging in 2005.

  2. are you experimenting the format keeps changing and I can no longer enter the brocante via side pictures-

  3. I’m still receiving your posts….. in a new format.
    I found your blog…maybe 2014?

  4. Been hangin’ around here since ’07.

  5. I think I started following you in 2006, but never subscribed. I have you bookmarked and at the top of my favorites list.

  6. I’ve been following and soaking up every delightful post of yours since ’08.

  7. I use feedly, all a ok here! I’ve been following you since I discovered what blogs were in 2008 ;0) Mxx

  8. Not Shure how long I’ve been following you (maybe 8-10 years?), but I can say I’ve lived every word!

  9. Exactly what’s been happing to me

  10. Jennifer Phillipps

Same for me…the years go whizzing by so quickly I have lost track of how long I have been blogging, but probably since 2010 or even earlier.
I know one thing, I always look forward to your latest escapades, the brocante, the family goings on, that French Hunk of yours getting into dangerous places and all your lovely thoughtful posts that give food for thought…..plus I am receiving your blog posts as normal…so no problemo for me. Cheers from NZ!

  11. It has been four years since I began reading your blog, Corey. I have enjoyed each and every day. I usually just read the email version but I see a different format on your actual blog. I love the playfulness of your cover photo today, and it goes so nicely with your playful blog name. (Back when you were having trouble with your publisher a few years ago, I ended up receiving 2 emails per day. I will gladly share my second copy!)

  12. My beginning to follow was at least 10 years ago..perhaps more. I am still receiving the posts in my e-mail, no issue. Format is a bit different..but still the stories and photos that bring me so much delight.
    Kristin

  13. Everything normal for me….I like the header photo. I think that’s what it’s called. I started reading in 2011, maybe earlier. Also loved every word. I check in before going to bed….it’s a ritual.

  14. Have been following you about five years. Did not receive your posts for the last two or three nights, but did receive tonight. The format of the comment page as been changed as another person said that there’s nothing up The side of the page where you could just click on or you wanted to go.

  15. Hope you get it figured out? Gee I go away for a vacation and your blog changed… need to catch up…
I think I have been following since 2007? anyway it was before you had wordpress I think you had blog.com and you didn’t have any of the side stuff or the brocante.
It is like “coming hone” and reading the family newsletter with all the updates , just a lovely warm friendly and filled with wonderful stories and very pretty pics.

  16. Vicki Perkins

I am receiving your blog and have been following you since 2006. Read you every day.

  17. Barbara Costa

Receiving it just fine…I’ve followed you since about 2006 or before…not an evening goes by that I don’t read your blog.

  18. I have to go to your Profile to see the sidebar stuff.

  19. Jacklynn Lantry

I only get your blog in my spam mail, no matter what I do, but I think that’s something to do with my computer (and me:) I have been following you since around 2011-2012 I think.

  20. Kate Gumbley

I have been enjoying the journey of your blog for at least 8-10 years. Love hearing about your wonderful family both in France and the USA. No problem with emails here. New Zealand. X

  21. Our French Oasis

All normal and working for me too, although I have had the same message from several people just this week, saying they are no longer receiving notifications even when they subscribe. I wonder what is happening in blogland. Although we use different platforms, if I find out anything helpful I shall let you know.

  22. Hi Corey! I’ve been following your blog since at least 2007. I’m still receiving daily posts via email — in fact I receive 2 every day — same post 🙂 I’m not sure why that happens, but it isn’t a problem and has always been that way. Have a good day!

  23. I’ve been a subscriber 8-10 years and no problem receiving daily posts. I save your email until last every morning to enjoy with a cup of coffee. 🙂

  24. I knew of your blog from Somerset Studio, but started following it everyday before I went to Provance in 2013! If I go again, I would love to meet you! About two years ago, my blog stopped coming, I signed up again and now I get two!
    LOVE the new header!

  25. Hi Corey, I’ve been following you since 2007. Your blog is the first thing I read EVERY morning. I get a daily email. Your life in Europe is extraordinary. YOU are extraordinary! Sending much love from New Jersey. xo

  26. Your website formatting is different now — and the link to the shop isn’t working this morning, so fyi to that. Can’t remember how long I have subscribed, but I certainly have enjoyed your posts and wonderful photography.

  27. Still receiving your wonderful blog Corey

  28. Cynthia Thompson

I have been enjoying your site for 9yrs!! I do not have a cell phone, facebook, twitter or anything like that. I’m so thankful to be able to enjoy your wonderful post!! It is such a joy!!

  29. I started following you when your dad was ill–not sure what year that was!

  30. same here! Reading your blog is my favorite way to start the day.

  31. Hello Corey, I’ve been following you for about five years. Also, FYI: I get two posts from you daily. Today’s first one was posted at 12:39 AM and the second at 3:35 AM. Better twice than not at all!!

  32. Hi Corey. My daughter found your blog and got me following you and that was in 2005.

  33. Your blog pops up every morning, Corey. kristin Espinasse mentioned you in one of her blogs once upon a time (and probably several times since), and I wandered over to Tongue in Cheek. I loved your photos and writing and have been a faithful follower for quite a while.

  34. I can’t remember when I first began reading your blog, but I do remember what I first read there. You had discovered a bundle of war-time letters from husband to wife (or wife to husband?), and you and the family had grouped yourselves around the table reading them. I was entranced. Although I haven’t subscribed, I bookmarked your blog, and I read every post.

  35. La Contessa

  36. Teddee Grace

Still arriving in my e-mail daily!

  37. Paula Tyner

Am unsure, but think since 2007. I am not a blog follower, but was looking for info. on antiquing in Europe as I recall. I read your blog. I lost track of your blog. I re found your blog and have never stopped reading it since! I still receive via e mail. There have been a few glitches over the years, but not today!
Thanks for sharing your life. I love your posts and photos.

  38. Yours was one of the first blogs I started following in 2007. I especially loved that you were a California girl married to a French man living in a village in France. I have been to France three times since I started reading your blog and I follow you on Instagram. You are so inspiring to just be yourself and to be so loved by your friends and family and readers. I read your blog on the app Bloglovin which I love and is how I follow all my favorite blogs. Besides your knack for writing you are a great photographer and transmit so much in your photos. I don’t comment very often but here is a big Thank You.

  39. Natalie Thiele

I’ve been reading your blog daily for 10 or more years. It was the first blog I ever read and is the only blog I read daily. I now receive it as an email, no problems with receiving it, but used to have you “favorited.” Thank you for a wonderful ride.

  40. No problems here in southern California. I’ve been with you since 2005 – My Daily Bread 🙂 Your family has become my family.

  41. Peggy Lunde

Me too…since motocross days:) New format, as described.

  42. I think I’ve followed you since … just about 2005!! I am an American who moved to the UK in 2003 and I discovered you early on. Without knowing it, you gave me such good advice about international marriage and making a life in a country outside of one’s own. 🙂

  43. The first post that drew me to your blog was the one with the big workman’s hand holding the delicate teacup. I wonder what year that was. I have your blog bookmarked and check in every day. It’s one of only 2 blogs I read. And you led me to the Painter of Provence who I follow also.

  44. I think since 2006 or 2007. You have helped me through many difficulties in life just by being a daily escape.

  45. Yes, I’m getting the emails but after reading the comments I tried to click into the brocante and others but it took me to blogs about that topic, not to the shop or Paris Apt.,etc. Started in 2015 after coming to your house with Red Shed Tour gals from Texas.

  46. Angela Vular

Since 2007. I love reading your blog. My dream since 7th grade has been to visit France. I had a French pen pal from La Rochelle. I am now 67…. living my dream by reading your blog. If only I could reconnect with my French pen pal. I tried Facebook but there are a lot of women with the name Anne Proust. Of course that was her name back then, she could be married. Keep writing and I’ll keep reading!!

  47. Anne Jeffries

Been with you almost from the beginning.

  48. Kathie Grignon

Still receiving tho in new format. I’ve been enjoying your posts since 2010. Thank you!

  49. Tongue in Cheek

That is how I do things and it works fine for me too.

  53. Tongue in Cheek

…and we go back to childhood together.

  54. Tongue in Cheek

I do not know Feedly, maybe I should encourage everyone to do that as the one most of you use I pay for it.

  55. Tongue in Cheek

Star is the name I call you and it will never change xx

  56. Tongue in Cheek

Good to hear! Thanks Jennifer xx

  60. Tongue in Cheek

Thank you Doreen for the update, I am working out the kinks, should be good by this weekend.

  61. Tongue in Cheek

Ah thank you! I like that expression “coming home”.

  62. Rebecca from the pacific northwest

Since before your dad was sick, whatever year that was.
I view it on “old-fashioned” computer monitor whenever I think to visit, and noticed the newer format but no problems.

  63. Tongue in Cheek

Thank you very much I appreciate your being here with me xxx

  64. Tongue in Cheek

Hum, probably two different feed services, if it works for you and you do not mind it, then that is good.

  70. Tongue in Cheek

Hi Nancy0. I like saying your name. It is the O. that has a good ring to it!

  71. Tongue in Cheek

Thank you Deb. I use to write for Somerset and helped set up their fleamarket board. I am glad to hear that is how you found me XXX

  72. Tongue in Cheek

Thank you Sue for letting me know XXX

  73. I am getting your posts! And yes, the format is different. As a matter of fact, they just started coming to my inbox instead of my junk mail!
I’ve been following for a very long time, I can’t remember which year or how I found you, but so glad I did!!! I remember one of the first pictures of you was in your claw foot tub! May have been around 2009 .?

  74. from the very beginning ….due to life’s circumstances I no longer read you first thing in the morning with my coffee, like I used to. But when I find the time, late at night, I always catch up. You have been a source of steady delight. Thank you
    (firvidas)

  75. No disruption in subscription. Been enjoying your blog since 2011!

  76. I wish I could remember the first post I read and which year. I just know that it has been at least five years and I was hooked from the first word. Xoxo

  77. Rachel Schindler

I read your blog from my list of blogs on my sidebar on my blog. I love clicking on my blog in the morning, sort of like reading the paper, and reading all the new posts of the people I follow. I can’t remember when I first started reading your blog, @2009? Some day I want to come stay in your apartment and shop, shop, shop…

  78. I am receiving your blog through email, but I, too, can’t access your brocante via the pictures on the page. Curious.
I think I discovered you in 2008 or 2009. Seems like close to a decade that I have been enjoying your words of wisdom and beautiful pictures. I don’t have an instagram or Facebook account, so your blog is my only way to connect.

  79. Shelley Noble

Reading you from the start for sure. Still in awe and admiration.
I read your blog posts via an aggregate blog feed reader called Feedly.com

  80. Jennifer McCracken

I get the blog twice in my email! Don’t know how that happened, but I have been reading since I retired in 2010. Also follow on Instagram and Facebook. Your’s is one blog I read everyday! I subscribe to so many, I pick and choose which to read each day. Happy Belated Birthday to Yann!

  81. Leslie in Oregon

I have been reading “Tongue in Cheek” since I first found it, and immediately subscribed to it, on November 4, 2013. There has been no disruption in my receiving it, which happens by email. The sidebar seems to have much less in it now, and it no longer contains a Facebook or an Instagram icon by which I can click directly over to your page on those sites. Thank you for all that you give us through this wonderful blog, Leslie
