Please Pray for my Dear Friend Cheryl

Cheryl

 

My longtime dear friend Cheryl (Alice's Mother) is very ill.

She has been in the hospital for some time now and needs prayer.

Please, can you pray for healing, for strength and courage, for her well being. For her doctors and nurses to have what it takes to do heal her.

If you do not believe in prayer can you send her some positive thoughts, wishes, kisses, energy…

Thank you, your prayers and friendship have given many hope and healing, courage and grace I trust you will extend that to Cheryl too.

    I will do so and often, I will also add her name to a prayer list that has 25-40 different people praying for the people who are on that list several times each day for two weeks. I’ll toss in a few extra for you as well.

    Cheryl full of joy, the Mother of lovely Alice. . . In your entry about Cheryl there was a phrase that caught my eye, “standing strong and true” and so may it be for Cheryl. A Psalm/prayer that comes to mind for her is Psalm 103, specifically this verse – Bless the LORD, oh my soul and forget not ALL HIS benefits, who forgives All your iniquities, who heals ALL your diseases. Time and distance are of no consequence for the Great Physician. My prayer is that she my be touched by HIM and rise from her sick bed to stand strong and true to HIM. Let it be so LORD, let it be so.

    Two phrases come to mind, one of which you mentioned, “wherever two or more are gathered Thy name”, and the other from the Lord’s Prayer, “Thy will be done”. So many good souls praying for Cheryl and her mother. They are already blessed by your friendship and the prayers of many, many people she doesn’t know. May all these good intentions bring them comfort and peace.
