The much-needed rain poured down last night. I rolled over in bed thinking the brocante would be off in the morning, but by mid-day, it was clear enough to beg differently. The route to the brocante came alive after the massive rain showers, the pristine picture perfect landscape sparkled in it fresh autumn attire and the ground seem to rise up and cheer. Nature had a kiss by nature.

When I arrived at the brocante a dealer called me over to his truck, he said he had set aside a box full of old music books for me. I was thrilled, especially since strong arms French  Husband was there to carry the load to the car. I noticed another dusty cardboard box in the brocante dealer's truck and asked if I could take a peek inside.

Wrapped in a piece of linen was a stack of loved worn faded to perfection Tarot cards.

They came home with me.

  1. These are fascinating. They look like the kind that were used to predict the future…I think they were popular in the 18th century.
The first looks like sickness, then counting? My Francais is pretty rusty…

  2. The tarot cards are beautiful. How I wish I could come and stay for a month in the Tiny House.
