Wonderland.

In a cardboard box, high up on a shelf, marked antique silk flowers, that had been carefully guarded by the shopkeeper, who no matter how many times Ruth begged to just peek inside, had been told no it is not for sale… Then at last with The French Muse the shopkeeper gently took the box down.

Wonderland.

    Gorgeous shades of color.

  2. Beautiful! Surely an extra sweet experience, for the wait 🙂

  3. I just pushed the biggest sigh….. magnificent 🙂
BUT why is the shopkeeper having this box in his shop if he/she doesn’t want to show the goods and sell them? Doesn’t make much sense to me. Unless it was just for his/her personal joy but then it shouldn’t be hidden away.
Am in Wonderland right now, writing Christmas cards, sending advent calendars with little doors and fabulous tiny pictures behind each door/window, distributing kind thoughts and prayers…. Advent is a beautiful, wonder-full time.

    Spectacular!

  5. I can see why the shop keeper had to experience some discernment before taking the box down. Se.o beautiful and delicate.
