24 Hours Heading Home

clock, measure of time

The measurer of time

One moment of many

profound and fleeting

blending seconds into days,

and a lifetime back into seconds.

When I was home it was as if I hadn't left, then twenty four hours later I am back home in France and it feels I just woke up.

Incredible and bizarre,

rolled up into here and now

or a history or yesterdays, and dreams of tomorrow

the same in one moment.

Grateful for the mystery of living.

Comme s’il fallait se réveiller après un rêve, avec parfois un corps courbaturé.
