Chelsea’s View

Chelsea in Paris, street view

Paris, a view down the street. An ordinary cobblestone street.

The photos below (and above) are of Chelsea's Paris.

Beautiful views, I sense wonder and awe. That makes me smile.

Golden winter day.

Leafless tree,

Stark yet inviting.

Looking at the vastness that the Place de la Concorde offers, in the center of Paris.

Open space, cars swirling around the obelisk (the oldest monument in Paris), four statues stand at each corner.

Louvre on one side, the arch on the other.

Sunset offers beautiful views of the city.

Constant prayer pouring down the stairs,

through the little streets,

painter's palette dash of pink

to the evening sky.

Dear Chelsea,

If you cannot be home,

then be home where you are,

Happy, and Loved.

This is one of my favorite “Tongue in Cheek posts to date. I can feel how much you love your daughter, the city of Paris and your adopted motherland. Wonderful writing. And Chelsea! She’s inherited a bit of her mom’s artistic ability I see. How delightful! Wonderful post, wonderful post.

  4. Taste of France

  7. I dreamed about Chelsea the other night. She was serving me the most delicious, beautiful pastries. I live right next to SFSU. I am sorry I did not try to meet her when she was here for a semester. Oh well, I met her in my dream and am privileged to see photos of her and by her on Tongue in Cheek. Thanks a bunch.
