Bretagne

TheyEmerald coast Bretagne

After years of not seeing my long-time friend, I came to Bretagne, between Dinard and St Malo to visit her. The moment we embraced it was if we had never said goodbye.

We picked up right where we left off and talked for the next several hours. When Yann lived in San Francisco he stayed with Francoise who was French, her grandmother was Yann's mother's neighbor.

Years after Yann and I were living in France, Francoise moved back to Bretagne.

The weather forecast in France today was to be extremely cold, a Siberian chill. The water from the fountains froze in icicles! It was so cold in pierced my face like pins. Though hanging out with Francoise, especially in her beautiful artistic cozy home warmed every part of my body and heart!

The coastline of Francoise childhood, and Yann's too. They both grew up here and yet met in San Francisco.

The wonders of life and love and everything in between.
