This Lenten Journey

France travel beauty

Traveling the spiritual journey. Taking the inner road. Following the path that leads from the heart, that echoes the soul, that opens my eyes to see that which is longing to be seen.

A spiritual journey is not about religion, nor is it a singular practice of faith, for me, it is about listening, about taking time to be with one's emotions and thoughts. To listen not to the words but the song silently sung between the lines, and when heard to hold it as sacred.

To be comfortable with silence, to sit alongside sadness, to rejoice in goodness, to yearn for beauty, to encourage, to cultivate holiness daily.

To find my way to the center of myself and claim it as my own.

And in the center nourish the seeds of love, grace, joy, courage… holiness.
